A lot more websites facilitating deals are pooping up all over the Internet. It started with Groupon, a deal-of-the-day website that features discounted gift certificates usable at companies in the United States. Although Groupon doesn’t offer its services in the Caribbean they are alternative websites that cater to the region.

First off before we start allow me to introduce myself since it’s my first blog post. I am the one and only Kevin .J. Sandiford, Kevin to my friends so you can call me Kevin…friend. I am the head of Systems Programming at Island Evolved Inc. I was born and currently live in Barbados and I love my little island but I also love to travel. When I am not in Barbados I am usually spending time in my second home, Miami. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. People are the most interesting thing on this planet and the most important part of technology is the human element (which i’ll explain in a later blog…so stay tuned
